The authors consider certain linear integral-differential equations with periodic boundary conditions arising in neutron transport theory. The nonhomogeneous terms (source terms) in these equations are recovered in terms of certain moments of the solutions, generalizing some previous results of the first author [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 318, No. 1, 43-46 (1994; Zbl 0801.35149)].
