The well-known theory of linear and polylinear recurring sequences over fields was previously extended to a similar theory over modules over commutative rings in, among other works, the references below. The scheme has been that fields can be replaced by quasi-Frobenius rings or, more generally, by the quasi-Frobenius module over an arbitrary commutative ring. In the paper under review, these results on linear and polylinear recurring sequences are further generalized to the context of modules over noncommutative rings. The necessary condition is to use the quasi-Frobenius bimodule when this one satisfies the property that both its left and right rings of coefficients are Artinian (a condition referred to as ``Artinian duality context'').
