The authors consider the Ginzburg-Landau equation simplified from the model of superconductivity. At the vortices, the superconductor degenerates into normal conductor. The Ginzburg-Landau equations can be viewed as the approximations to harmonic maps (stationary case) and harmonic maps heat flow (evolutionary case). Then the studies on the asymptotic behavior of Ginzburg-Landau equations provide another way to study the harmonic maps and harmonic maps heat flow, especially on the singularities of harmonic maps and harmonic maps heat flow with prescribed degree on the boundary data. Convergence results on asymptotic behavior are proved.
