It is studied existence of nontrivial, nonnegative radial solutions of quasilinear equations \(-\text{ div}(A(| \nabla u| )\nabla u)=f(u)\) in \({\mathbb R}^n\) under general assumptions on the nonlinearity \(f\) and the function \(A,\) without requiring homogeneity.
