A polynomial \(P_n(z)=\sum_{k=0}^na_kz^k, a_k\in {\mathbb C},\) is called unimodular if \(|a_k|=1\) for \(k=0,\dots ,n\). By Parseval's formula \(\int_0^{2\pi}|P_n(e^{it})|^2 dt=2\pi(n+1)\). Therefore, \(\min_{|z|=1}|P_n(z)|\leq \sqrt{n+1}\leq \max_{|z|=1}|P_n(z)|.\) In 1980 Kahane established that there exist sequences \(P_n, n=1,2,\dots \) of unimodular polynomials satisfying \(\max_{|z|=1}|(|P_n(z)|-\sqrt{n+1})|\to 0\) as \(n\to\infty\). The author proves three results which give certain asymptotical estimates between the polynomials \(P_n(z)\) and \(z^n\bar{P_n}(1/z)\) in such a sequence.
