Projective representations. II: Generalized chain geometries (Q5954703)

The authors continue the study of projective representations for the projective line \(PG(1,R)\) [part I in ibid., 287-299 (2000; Zbl 0992.51001 above)]. For a generalized chain geometry \(\Sigma (F,R)\) where \(R\) is a ring with unit 1 containing a subfield \(F\) with \(1\in F\), they investigate under which conditions the chains are mapped to reguli under the projective representation. Finally it is shown for a particular class of chain geometries how projective models can be used to determine all isomorphisms for that class.
