The author considers the problem of damping of sound field in a waveguide by a Helmholtz resonator in the presense of constant-velocity flow. This is diffraction problem in a domain with nondifferentiable boundary. The leading term of low-frequency asymptotics of sound field diffracted by the throat of resonator connected to the waveguide is studied in the case of a mean flow.
