A steplike contrast structure in a singularly perturbed system of elliptic equations with different power of a small parameter (Q5954730)

The authors examine a system of two elliptic equations with different powers of a small parameter multiplying the derivatives in differential equations. The existence of a solution with internal transition layer in the neighborhood of some closed curve is proved. Asymptotics of an arbitrary order in the small parameter are constructed for that solution.
