Sufficient conditions for meromorphic starlikeness and close-to-convexity of order \(\alpha\) (Q5954788)

The authors consider functions \(f(z)=z^{-1}+ \sum^\infty_{n=1} a_nz^n\) analytic in the unit disk punctured in the origin. For those functions they derive sufficient conditions for the inequalities \[ -\text{Re} \left({zf'(z) \over f(z)}\right) >\alpha, \quad\text{resp.} \quad-\text{Re} \bigl(z^2f'(z) \bigr)> \alpha \] to hold for certain \(\alpha\) and all \(z\) in the punctured unit disk.
