Affine boundary values of weakly quasiregular mappings, see [\textit{T. Iwaniec}, and \textit{O. Martio}, Nonlinear analysis and geometric function theory, Oxford Univ. Press, 2001] on a Lipschitz domain \(\Omega\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), \(n\geq 3\), are studied. A mapping \(u\in W^{1,p}_{\log} (\Omega; \mathbb{R}^n)\), \(p\geq 1\), is called weakly \(L\)-quasiregular if (*) \(|Du(x) |\leq L\det Du(x)\) a.e. in \(\Omega\). Condition (*) can be expressed in the form \(Du(x)\in K_L\) where \(K_L=\{\xi\in M^{n\times n}: |\xi|^n\leq L\det \xi\}\) is an \(L\)-quasiregular set; \(M^{n\times n}\) is the set of \(n\times n\) matrices. If \(u\) is \(L\)-quasiregular and in \(W^{1,n}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^n)\) and if \(u \mid\partial \Omega=\xi+b\) in the Sobolev sense, then \(\xi\in K_L\). The author shows that this holds for \(p=p_n(L) <n\) as well. He also shows that for \(1\leq p<nL/ (L+1)\) any affine map can represent boundary values of a weakly \(L\)-quasiregular mapping in \(W^{1,p}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^n)\). The proofs make use of quasiconvex functions vanishing on the set \(K_L\).
