The author considers algorithms which are constructed in conformity with the auxiliary problem principle by \textit{G.Cohen} [J. Optimization Theory Appl. 59, 325-334 (1988; Zbl 0628.90066)]. Usually, their convergence is proved under co-coercivity or strong monotonicity assumptions. It is shown that these conditions may be somewhat relaxed, namely, they are replaced with pseudo co-coercivity and strong pseudomonotonicity, respectively.
