The present paper is an interesting study of the connectedness properties of graphs of functions from the real line \(\mathbb{R}\) to itself. The authors prove among other results that: (i) a totally disconnected graph of a function from \(\mathbb{R}\) to \(\mathbb{R}\) does not need to be zero-dimensional, (ii) the graph of every injection from \(\mathbb{R}\) to \(\mathbb{R}\) is zero-dimensional provided that it does not contain arcs. As a consequence of the second result they obtain an easy proof of the well-known fact that every two-point set is zero-dimensional. The authors conclude this nice paper by showing, with an interesting construction that there is a two-point set which is not homeomorphic to the graph of a function from \(\mathbb{R}\) to \(\mathbb{R}\).
