Multifractal formalism for Weierstrass and Levy functions has been studied by \textit{S. Jaffard} [J. Fourier. Anal. Appl. 3, 1--22 (1997; Zbl 0880.28007)]. Takagi and Weierstrass functions are continuous, however, the Lévy function is continuous at non-dyadic points, and discontinuous with right and left limits at dyadic points (with a jump \(2^{-n}\)). The author gives a detailed information about the kind of singularities for the Takagi, Weierstrass and Lévy functions. For that, he estimates the power law behavior of the wavelet transform (in the sense of Littlewood-Paley) at the position \(x_0\) when varying the scale \(a\). For Takagi and Weierstrass (respectively Lévy) functions, the author shows that for all (resp. almost all) \(x_0\) the singularities are cusp singularities, i.e., the strongest wavelet coefficients are localized on a cone \(| x-x_0|\leq Ca\) over \(xX_0\). Roughly speaking, cusp singularities are of the form \(| x-x_0|^h\) with \(h>0\), however oscillating singularities are of the form \(| x-x_0|^h \sin(1/ | x-x_0 |^\beta)\) with \(h>0\) and \(\beta>0\).
