The mean value form for computing the bounds on the range of a function over an interval has been studied for real functions only so far, with a few exceptions concerning several particular complex functions. In this paper a mean value form is developed for a general complex analytic function in either rectangular, or circular complex arithmetic. For the circular mean value form, quadratic convergence as well as inclusion isotonicity are established.
