Finite-dimensional autonomous nonlinear discrete-time systems are considered. First, the boundedness of the solution to the unforced system is investigated using Lyapunov functions. Then, bounded-input bounded-state conditions are presented. Finally, an affine-in-control system is considered and an asymptotically stabilizing control law is presented. The proof of stabilizability is done using Lyapunov results and La Salle's invariance theorem.
