A posteriori error estimates on irregular grids based on gradient recovery (Q5959283)

In the last 25 years many types of a posteriori error estimators were developed and studied. The robustness of one of them, namely that of some of recovery type, is, as the author says, still a ``mystery''. It is the aim of this paper to contribute to solve this mystery on the model of the following problem \[ -\Delta u=f \quad\text{in }\Omega;\quad {\partial u\over\partial\nu}= 0\quad\text{on }\partial\Omega;\quad \Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^2. \]
