      Let \(L = L_{\bar 0} + L_{\bar 1}\) be a Lie superalgebra over a field \(F\) with char \(F \not= 2\). The authors prove that if \(L\) has a filtration \(L = L_{(-1)} \supseteq L_{(0)} \supseteq \dots\) such that \(\dim (L/L_{(0)})_{\bar 0} = m\), \(\dim (L/L_{(0)})_{\bar 1} = n\), \(L_{(i+1)} = \{ x \in L_{(i)} \mid [x,L] \subseteq L_{(i)}\}\) (\(i \geqq 0\)), and \(\bigcap_{i \geqq -1} L_{(i)} = 0\), then there exists an isomorphism of \(L\) onto a filtered subalgebra of \(W(m,n)\).
