The authors study the noncompact algebra \(SO(1,2)\) and exhibit the decomposition of \({\mathfrak g}(A)\) into representations of \(SO(2,1)\). The authors prove that all of these representations are unitary with the exception of the adjoint \(SO(2,1)\) algebra itself. The authors also compute the Casimir eigenvalues.
