The paper reviews and revises all single lunisolar resonances which arise in the artificial satellite problem after excluding the short-periodic terms from the Hamiltonian. The author uses the basic model of the satellite theory in which the geopotential is restricted to the coefficient of oblateness \(J_2\), the Sun and the Moon move on circular orbits in the ecliptic plane, and their potentials are truncated to the second Legendre polynomial terms. All angles are measured with respect to the equator-equinox reference frame. The definition of the lunisolar resonances, involving the satellite's perigee, node and the longitude of the perturbing body, is given. The lunisolar resonances form a separate class within the traditional resonance types. The phase flow types in the second fundamental model and in the extended fundamental model are presented on figures and analyzed.
