      The author considers the algebraic \(n\)-th degree equation (1) \(a_0+a_1x+\dots+a_nx^n = 0\) with the conditions (2) \(a_0<0\), \(A(n)\equiv \sum_0^n a_l>0\), (3) \(A(t)<0\), \(0\leq t\leq\tau\), where \(0\leq\tau = \max \{l\), \(0\leq l\leq n: a_l<0\}\). It is proved that for every \(n\geq 1\) under conditions (2) and (3) equation (1) has a unique solution \(x_0\) on the positive axis and \(0<x_0<1\).
