Let us consider a polynomial \(P\) of degree \(d\geq 2\), for which \(P(z_0)= z_0\) and \(P'(z_0)= \lambda=\exp(2\pi i\alpha)\), where \(\alpha\) is irrational. Such fixed point is called irrationally indifferent and \(\alpha\) is called the rotation number. Further, \(P\) is linearizable at \(z_0\) if there exists a neighborhood \(U\) of \(z_0\) and a conformal map \(w= h(z)\) from \(U\) to the unit disk \(D\) with \(h(z_0)= 0\) such that \(h\circ f\circ h^{-1}\) is a rotation \(w\mapsto\lambda w\) on \(D\). The author studies the nonlinearizability conjecture (NLC) for polynomials: If a polynomial of degree \(d\geq 2\) is linearizable at an irrationally indifferent fixed point whose multiplier is \(\lambda= \exp(2\pi i\alpha)\), then \(\alpha\) satisfies the Brjuno condition. The Brjuno condition is defined in terms of the continued fraction expansion. It is known (Yoccoz) that NLC is true in class of quadratic polynomials. The author defines the class of \(n\)-subhyperbolic polynomials and from this class separates a subclass of piecewise 1-subhyperbolic polynomials, for which NLC is true. More precisely, the author have proved that if an \(n\)-subhyperbolic polynomial with connected Julia set has a Siegel cycle whose multiplier is \(\lambda= \exp(2\pi i\alpha)\) and for which it is piecewise 1-subhyperbolic, then \(\alpha\) satisfies the Brjuno condition.
