The paper gives the criteria for the Lagrange stability of isotropic map-germs of corank at most one. As consequences the author obtains an analogue of Mather's characterization of the stability of differentiable mapping and a generalization of Arnold's criterion of the Lagrange stability of Lagrange immersions.
