The author gives a topological description of the solution set of the equation \(f(t,\Phi(u)(t))= 0\), where \(\Phi\) is a linear homeomorphism between a topological linear space \(X\) and \(L^1(T)\), and \(f:T\times\mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R}\) is a Carathéodory map.
