On a posteriori estimates for a linearized Oldroyd's problem (Q596157)

By a finite element scheme, the authors solve a linearized Oldroyd's problem which governs the flow of viscoelastic fluid. The main difficulty consists in the coupling between two different kinds of equations: a hyperbolic equation associated with the constitutive law, and Stokes problem governing the flow. Some a posteriori error estimates are obtained, and some numerical experiments are carried out for non-convex geometry. It seems they could lead to more adequate refinements near singular points.
