Projective iterative algorithms with application to multicomponent transport (Q5961588)

Projected iterative algorithms for solving constrained symmetric singular linear systems are examined. The symmetry of generalized inverses, the projected standard iterative methods as well as projected conjugate gradient algorithms are investigated. Linear systems arising from the kinetic theory of gases and providing transport coefficients in multicomponent gas mixtures are examined to illustrate the methodology.
