In [Adv. Math. 291, 784--858 (2016; Zbl 1333.18023)], the authors show how some model categories can be constructed as the pro-categories of weak fibration categories (categories with suitable classes of fibrations and weak equivalences), provided that certain additional conditions are satisfied. One of these additional conditions is pro-accessibility. In the present paper the authors give some sufficient conditions for pro-accessibility. Dually, it is possible to construct model categories from weak cofibration categories. If a model category can be constructed in this way then it is a combinatorial model category and its class of weak equivalences is finitely accessible. The authors give sufficient conditions for a model category to be constructible in this way. They deduce that the class of weak equivalences in the category of simplicial sets is finitely admissible.
