The authors investigate the global structure of radial positive solutions of the Dirichlet problem in a ball, associated to the mean curvature operator in the flat Minkowski space endowed with the Lorentzian metric. The unilateral global bifurcation theory and some preliminary results on the superior limit of a sequence of connected components due to \textit{H. Luo} and the first author [``The existence and application of unbounded connected components'', J. Appl. Math. 2014, Article ID 780486, 7 p. (2014; \url{doi:10.1155/2014/780486})] are used to establish the main results. The existence of a connected component of radial positive solutions is proved via global bifurcation technique.
