The authors consider the problem of uniqueness of radial ground state solutions to the equation \[ -\triangle u=K(| x| )f(u), x\in\mathbb R^n, \] where \(K\) is a positive \(C^{1}\) function defined in \(\mathbb R^+\), \(f\in C[0, \infty)\) has one zero at \(u_{0}>0\), non positive and not identically 0 on \((0, u_{0})\), moreover it is locally Lipschitz, positive and satisfies some superlinear growth assumption on \((u_{0}, \infty)\) .
