\textit{P. Szuca} [Fundam. Math. 179, 27--41 (2003; Zbl 1070.26004)] proved that Sharkovsky's theorem holds for all interval functions whose graph is a connected \(G_{\delta}\) set. In the paper under review, the dynamics of such functions is further investigated. Recurrent, \(\omega\)-limit and nonwandering points of such functions and topological entropy of arbitrary (in general discontinuous) functions are studied. The main result says that an interval function whose graph is a connected \(G_{\delta}\) set has positive topological entropy if and only if \(f\) has a periodic point whose period is not a power of \(2\).
