The paper investigates Laughlin states under a deformation of the background metric. The deformations encompass geodesics relative to the Mabuchi metric on the space of Kähler structures. The single and many-particle evolution are analyzed. The paper contains a carefully written review of the necessary background material, after which the one-particle state on the deformed sphere and plane are studied. Laughlin states on the sphere are broadly investigated in Section 4. The geometry dependence is discussed, and the results are clearly asserted and proved.
