The research article is very well presented. It contains four sections. Section 1 begins with the introduction of the wavelet transform, the Hankel transform, and the \(k\)-Hankel transform. Then with the help of a generalised translation and dilation operator governed by the \(k\)-Hankel transform, the authors introduce the \(k\)-Hankel wavelet transform. This development of the definition of the \(k\)-Hankel wavelet transform is derived due to fact that, in general, the dilation and the translation of a wavelet transform of an integral transform is governed by the corresponding integral transform. Some uncertainty principles are discussed which motivated the authors to prove them for the \(k\)-Hankel wavelet transform. An equivalent version of these uncertainty principles is valid for different integral transforms. So, this section mainly deals with properties of the \(k\)-Hankel transform like its working domain, corresponding Paresevel's formula, Plancherel's formula, and inversion formulae. In Section 2, the authors introduce the \(k\)-Hankel wavelet. An illustration as Example 2.8 is given which is helpful to get an idea of the \(k\)-Hankel wavelet. Different properties of the \(k\)-Hankel wavelets, which follow easily, are quoted in the section. Section 3 and Section 4 deal with the main results of the article. The authors establish an analogue of the Benedick-Amrein-Berthier uncertainty inequality for the \(k\)-Hankel wavelet transform. As a consequence of this inequality, the authors demonstrate a general form of Heisenberg's uncertainty inequality. With the help of the local uncertainty principle for the \(k\)-Hankel transform some local uncertainty principles for the \(k\)-Hankel wavelet transform are proved. Further, Shapiro's dispersion theorem and the umbrella theorem are derived. In the last Section 4, the authors mainly discuss some important results of \(k\)-Hankel wavelet transform in \(L^p\) local type inequality.
