The authors prove the positive energy conjecture for a class of Horowitz-Myers metrics, see [\textit{G. T. Horowitz} and \textit{R. C. Myers}, Phys. Rev. D 59, No. 2, Article ID 026005, 12 p. (1998; \url{doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.59.026005})], on \(\mathbb{R}^2\times \mathbb{T}^{(n-2)}\). They generalize results by \textit{H. Barzegar} et al. [ibid. 101, No. 2, Article ID 024007, 16 p. (2020; \url{doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.101.024007})] and their own [J. Math. Phys. 61, No. 11, 112503, 12 p. (2020; Zbl 1454.53040)].
