Let \(K\) be a field and \(S=K[x_1,\ldots,x_n]\) be the standard graded polynomial ring over \(K.\) Let also \(G\) be a simple graph on \(n\) vertices. For any monomial ideal \(I\), let \(HS_k(I)\) be the monomial ideal generated by the \(k\)-th multigraded shifts of \(I.\) It is proved that if \(I\) is a monomial ideal with linear quotients generated in a single degree, then \(HS_1(I)\) has linear quotients. If \(G^c\) is a proper interval graph or a forrest, it is shown that \(HS_k(I)\) has linear quotients, for all \(k\geq 0.\) Finally, it is shown that if \(I\) is a polymatroidal ideal generated in degree two, then \(HS_k(I)\) is polymatroidal, for any \(k\geq 0.\)
