This article investigates properties of a pmG-limit \((Y,d,m,\bar{y})\) of a sequence of spaces \(X_n^{*}\) arising as quotient spaces of a sequence \(X_n\) having a metric measure foliation, in the sense introduced in [\textit{F. Galaz-García} et al., J. Funct. Anal. 275, No. 6, 1368--1446 (2018; Zbl 1396.58013)]. We refer to [\textit{N. Gigli} et al., Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 111, No. 5, 1071--1129 (2015; Zbl 1398.53044)] for details on the notion of pmG-convergence of pointed metric measure spaces. Assuming a volume growth condition for \(X_n^{*}\), it is proved that if each \(X_n\) satisfies the \(\mathrm{CD}(K,\infty)\) condition then also \(Y\) satisfies the \(\mathrm{CD}(K,\infty)\) condition and the Cheeger energy of \(X_n\) ``Mosco converges'' to the Cheeger energy of \(Y\). Moreover, the same result is valid replacing the \(\mathrm{CD}(K,\infty)\) condition with the \(\mathrm{RCD}(K,\infty)\) condition. Related properties are also discussed. The results are especially useful for dealing with sequences of metric measure spaces of unbounded dimensions.
