Let \(K\) be a higher local field of dimension \(n\ge1\), let \(\mathcal{O}\) be the ring of integers of \(K\), and let \(\wp\) be the maximal ideal of \(\mathcal{O}\). Say that \(A\subset K\) is a convergence set if every power series in one variable with coefficients in \(A\) converges on \(\wp\). If \(A\) is a convergence set then the subgroup of \((K,+)\) generated by \(A\) is also a convergence set. On the other hand, if \(A\) is not contained in \(\mathcal{O}\) then the subring \(\hat{A}\) of \(K\) generated by \(A\) is not a convergence set. In addition, if \(n\ge2\) then the ring of integers \(\mathcal{O}\) is not a convergence set. In this paper the author shows that if \(A\) is a convergence set which is contained in \(\mathcal{O}\) then \(\hat{A}\) is also a convergence set.
