The initial problem for the Stokes system is studied in three-dimensional half-space with the zero stress condition imposed at \(\{x_3=0\}\). The \(L^2\)-decay rate is obtained for initial data in \(L^2\cap L^1\) using Laplace and horizontal Fourier transform preliminarily.
