The problem with initial conditions for the equation of vibrations of a rectangular plate with mixed boundary conditions was examined by the author of this study. It is determined that there is an energy inequality, which implies that the solution to the given initial-boundary problem is unique. The existence and stability theorems are shown for regular and generalized solutions, and an explicit form of these solution is produced.
