Let \(\alpha:G\times M\to M\) be an isometric action of a Lie group \(G\) on a Lorentz manifold \((M,g)\). An orbit \(G(x)\) is said to be non-normalizable if it does not posses a \(G\)-invariant normal bundle. The author proves that, if \((M,g)\) is a Lorentz manifold and \(\alpha:G\times M\to M\) an isometric action of a Lie group \(G\) and the orbit \(G(x)\) is non-normalizable, then it is a light-like orbit. Moreover, the light-like curves of the orbit \(G(x)\) are generators and these are light-like homogeneous geodesics or genuine light-like homogeneous pregeodesics. Next, the author considers an isometric action on a geodesically complete Lorentz manifold \((M,g)\). Assuming that the non-normalizable orbits have light-like genuine pregeodesics with respect to Killing fields corresponding to the isometric action, he shows that the interior of the set of normalizable orbits is an open dense set in \(M\).
