Lorentzian manifolds which admit null parallel distributions are called Walker manifolds, and in the case where the distributions are spanned by a null vector they are called strict Walker manifolds. The authors give a geometric construction of \(2n\)-dimensional split-signature conformal structures endowed with a twistor spinor with integrable kernel by a modification of the conformal Patterson-Walker metric construction for projective \(n\)-manifolds. They also present a characterization of these structures. In particular, they give a necessary and sufficient condition for a conformal structure of split signature to be a modified conformal extension of a projective structure. They derive a complete description of Einstein metrics and infinitesimal conformal symmetries in terms of suitable projective data. They obtain an explicit geometrically constructed Fefferman-Graham ambient metric and show the vanishing of its Q-curvature.
