    The authors investigate the existence of convex radially solutions for the \(k\)-Hessian equation \[ S_{k}(D^2u(x))=b(|x|)f(u(x)),\; u(x)>0,\;\; x\in\mathbb{R}^n,\;\; \lim_{|x|\to\infty}u(x)=\infty, \tag{1} \] where \(S_k(D^2u)\) is the \(k\)-Hessian operator, defined as the sum of all principal \(k\times k\) minors of the Hessian matrix \(D^2u\), \(f,b:[0,\infty)\to[0,\infty)\) are continuous functions. The following hypotheses on \(b\) and \(f\) are considered. \begin{itemize} \item [] [(\({b}_1\))] \(b\in C[0,\infty)\), and \(b(r)>0\); \item [] [(\({b}_2\))] \(m(r)>0\), \(\forall\; r\ge 0\), where \[ m(r)=r^{k-1}b(r)-(n-k)r^{-(n-k-1)}\int_{0}^{r}s^{n-1}b(s)ds; \] \item [] [(\({b}_3\))] there exists \(r_0 >0\) such that \[ \int_{r_0}^{\infty}\Big[\min_{t\in[0,r]}m(t)\Big]^{\frac{1}{k+1}}dr=\infty; \] \item [] [(\({f}_1\))] \(f\in C[0,\infty)\), \(f(s)\) is nondecreasing on \([0,\infty)\), and \(f(s)>0\); \item [] [(\({f}_2\))] (Keller-Osserman-type condition) \[ \int_{1}^{\infty}[F(t)]^{-\frac{1}{k+1}}dt=\infty,\;\;\mbox{where}\;\; F(t)=\int_{0}^{t}f(s)ds. \] \end{itemize} Let us denote \[ B(r)=\int_{r}^{\infty}\left(\frac{kt^{-(n-k)}}{C^{k-1}_{n-1}}\int_{0}^{t}s^{n-1}b(s)ds\right)^{\frac{1}{k}}dt,\; C^{k-1}_{n-1}=\frac{(n-1)!}{(k-1)!(n-k)!}, \] and let \(\Phi\) be the solution of the problem \[ \int_{\Phi(t)}^{\infty}[f(\tau)]^{-\frac{1}{k}}d\tau=t. \] According with these hypotheses and notations, the following results are presented: \begin{itemize} \item[1.] If \(b\) satisfies \((b_1)\)-\((b_3)\) and \(f\) satisfies \((f_1)\), then (1) has one strictly convex radially solution if and only if \(f\) satisfies \((f_2)\). \item[2.] Suppose \(k<n\) and that \(b\) satisfies \((b_1)\) and \(B(0)<\infty\). If \(f\) satisfies \[ \int_{1}^{\infty}[F(t)]^{-\frac{1}{k+1}}dt<\infty \] and \(f\in C[a,\infty)\cap C^{1}(a,\infty)\), \(f(s)\) is nondecreasing on \([a,\infty)\) and \(f(a)=0\), \(f(s)>0\) for \(s>a\), \(a\in\mathbb{R}\cup\{-\infty\}\), then (1) has a convex radially solution \(u\) such that \(u(r)\ge \Phi(B(r)),\) for all \(r>0\). \end{itemize}
