In this paper, a three-dimensional plate model incorporating a nonlinear Green-Lagrange strain tensor to analyze the geometrical nonlinear oscillations of large deflected functionally graded carbon nanotube (FG-CNT)-reinforced nanocomposite plates with dissimilar geometries and inconstant thickness is considered. An isogeometric three-dimensional elastic plate framework is established incorporating finite element capability in accurate geometrical representation to solve nonlinear free vibration problems of different thickness variability ventures as well as various CNT reinforcing decoration patterns. A hybrid quasi-3D-based plate formulation together with von Karman geometrically nonlinear features is used. A parametric investigation is conducted, based upon which the three-dimensional small- and large amplitude free oscillation responses of FG-CNT nanocomposite plates with elliptical and sector shapes with inconstant thicknesses are analyzed. Extensive numerical data is presented both in tabular and graphical form.
