Let \(\Omega:=(0,L)\). The singularly perturbed problem with \(\Omega\)-periodic unknown function \(\rho\) \[ \epsilon\,\rho_{tt}+\rho_t+N(\alpha N \rho_+ f'(\rho))=0, \;\rho|_{t=0}=\rho_0, \;\rho_t|_{t=0}=\rho_1 \tag{\(P_{\epsilon}\)} \] and corresponding to it unperturbed problem \(P_0\) are considered. The authors prove the existence of the exponential attractor of the problem (\(P_\epsilon\)) and its Hölder continuity with respect to \(\epsilon \in (0,\,\epsilon_0]\); the convergence of the exponential and global attractors of the problem \((P_\epsilon)\) to the exponential and global attractors of the problem \(P_0\) respectively as \(\epsilon \to 0\) in the suitable metric.
