On the stability property of the infection-free equilibrium of a viral infection model (Q607900)

The dynamics of a viral infection model with nonautonomous lytic immune response is studied from the perspective of dying out of the disease. With the help of the theory of exponential dichotomies of linear systems, we give a new proof for the global asymptotic stability of the infection-free equilibrium for the case \(R_0=1\). This result improves and complements one of the results of \textit{K. Wang, W. Wang} and \textit{X. Liu} [Chaos Solitons Fractals 28, No.~1, 90--99 (2006; Zbl 1079.92048)] .
