This paper deals with space-like hypersurfaces \(\mathcal{M}\) in Minkowski space \(\mathbb{R}^{n, 1}\). Such hypersurfaces admit an everywhere time-like normal field \(\nu\), which is assumed to be future-directed. The authors consider a family of space-like embeddings \(X(\cdot, t):\mathbb{R}^n\rightarrow\mathbb{R}^{n, 1}\) with corresponding hypersurfaces \(\mathcal{M}(t)=\{(x, u(x, t))\mid x\in\mathbb{R}^n\}\) satisfying the evolution equation \[ \frac{\partial X}{\partial t}=F^\alpha\nu, \] where \(\alpha>0\) and \[F=f(\kappa_1, \dots, \kappa_n)=\frac{1}{f_*(\kappa_1^{-1},\dots,\kappa_n^{-1})},\] with \(f_*\) satisfying some technical assumptions. The main result of the paper is that if the initial hypersurface \(\mathcal{M}\) satisfies certain conditions, then the solution of the above evolution equation exists for all time. Moreover, the authors show that after rescaling the solution converges to the unit future hyperboloid as \(t\rightarrow\infty\).
