On the Edrei-Goldberg-Ostrovskii theorem for minimal surfaces (Q6081111)

\textit{E. F. Beckenbach} and \textit{G. A. Hutchison} [Pac. J. Math. 28, 17--47 (1969; Zbl 0179.11202)] pursued the analogy between analytic functions of a complex variable and isothermal parametrisations of minimal surfaces (calling them ``meromorphic minimal surfaces'') with a view towards transferring results from the classical Nevanlinna theory of meromorphic functions (see \textit{R. Nevanlinna} [Acta Math. 46, 1--99 (1925; JFM 51.0254.05)]) to the setting of minimal surfaces.\par In the same vein, the present paper extends the results of the second author's recent article [Ann. Fenn. Math. 47, No. 1, 181--202 (2022; Zbl 1489.30043)] from meromorphic functions to meromorphic minimal surfaces.
