A connected, locally finite \(\mathrm{CW}\) complex \(X\) is semistable at infinity if any two proper rays \(r, s : [0, \infty) \rightarrow X\) converging to the same end are properly homotopic. If \(G\) a finitely presented group acts properly and cocompactly on a simply connected \(\mathrm{CW}\) complex \(X\), then \(G\) is \(G\) is semistable at infinity if \(X\) is semistable at infinity. Both semistability at infinity and the fundamental group at infinity are quasi-isometry invariants for simply connected, locally finite \(\mathrm{CW}\) complexes. A group \(G\) is cubulated if it acts properly and cocompactly on a \(\mathrm{CAT}(0)\) cube complex \(X\). In the paper under review, the author proves (Theorem 1.1) that cubulated groups are semistable at infinity. As an immediate consequence he deduces that if \(G\) is a cubulated group then \(H^{2}(G,\mathbb{Z}G)\) is free abelian. A second result states that any cubulated group has a cubulation for which all quarterspaces are deep-analogous to the fact that passing to the essential core of a given cubulation ensures that all halfspaces are deep (see the paper for precise definitions of the concepts used in this statement).
