The article under review provides a classification of 4-dimensional toric scalar-flat Kähler metrics under certain mild hypotheses. Given a Kähler manifold \((M^{4},J,g)\) and two commuting Killing fields \(\mathcal{X}_{1}\) and \(\mathcal{X}_{2}\) that also generate symplectomorphisms, one can form the Arnold-Liouville reduction \((\Sigma^{2},g_{\Sigma})\). For many metrics, it is known that \(\Sigma^{2}\) is a closed convex polygon and so the author assumes that the reduction of the scalar-flat Kähler metrics yields such a polygon (it is also assumed that the polygon and the metric \(g_{\Sigma}\) satisfy various other natural geometric conditions). One of the assumptions guarantees the existence of a biholomorphism between the polygon \(\Sigma^{2}\) and the closure of the upper half-plane \(\overline{H}^{2}\). By studying the behaviour of the action-angle variables viewed as functions on \(\overline{H}^{2}\) and the use of a Liouville-type theorem, proved in the paper, for the degenerate elliptic equations they satisfy, the author is able to classify the scalar-flat Kähler metrics on the parent manifold \(M^{4}\). Some of the metrics described in the classification had been constructed by \textit{M. Abreu} and \textit{R. Sena-Dias} [Ann. Global Anal. Geom. 41, No. 2, 209--239 (2012; Zbl 1236.53058)]. The author ends by considering the classification with reference to two explicit examples, the LeBrun metrics [\textit{C. LeBrun}, Commun. Math. Phys. 118, No. 4, 591--596 (1988; Zbl 0659.53050)] on the total space of \(\mathcal{O}(-k)\) bundles and the product space \(\mathbb{S}^{2}\times \mathbb{H}^{2}\).
