The author, based on the article [\textit{X. Y. Lin} and \textit{T. Zhang}, Appl. Anal. 100, No. 1, 206--227 (2021; Zbl 1460.76933)], considers the following system of 2D magnetomicropolar boundary layer equations on the upper half-plane \(\mathbb{R}^{2}_{+}:=\left\{(x,y): x\in\mathbb{R},\; y\in\mathbb{R}_{+}\right\}\), \[ \left\{\begin{array}{lr} {\partial_{t}u_{1}+u_{1}\partial_{x}u_{1}+u_{2}\partial_{y}u_{1}-2\kappa\partial_{y}w_{1}-\mu\partial^{2}_{y}u_{1}-b_{1}\partial_{x}b_{1}-b_{2}\partial_{y}b_{1}=0} \\ {\partial_{t}b_{1}+u_{1}\partial_{x}b_{1}+u_{2}\partial_{y}b_{1}-\nu\partial^{2}_{y}b_{1}-b_{2}\partial_{y}u_{1}=0} \\ {\partial_{t}w_{1}+u_{1}\partial_{x}w_{1}+u_{2}\partial_{y}w_{1}+2\kappa\partial_{y}u_{1}-\gamma\partial^{2}_{y}w_{1}=0} \\ {\partial_{x}u_{1}+\partial_{y}u_{2}=0, \quad \partial_{x}b_{1}+\partial_{y}b_{2}=0,} \end{array}\right. \] along with initial data and boundary conditions: \[ \left\{\begin{array}{lr} {u_{1}(t,x,y)|_{t=0}=u_{0}(x,y), \quad b_{1}(t,x,y)|_{t=0}=b_{0}(x,y)} \\ {w_{1}(t,x,y)|_{t=0}=w_{0}(x,y)} \\ {u_{1}(t,x,y)|_{y=0}=u_{2}(t,x,y)|_{y=0}=b_{1}(t,x,y)|_{y=0}}\\ {\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\; =b_{2}(t,x,y)|_{y=0}=w_{1}(t,x,y)|_{y=0}=0,} \end{array}\right. \] and the far field condition: \(\mathrm{lim}_{y\rightarrow\infty}(u_{1},b_{1},w_{1})=(\tilde{u},\tilde{b},\tilde{w})\). Here the unknown functions are \((u_{1},u_{2})\), \((b_{1},b_{2})\) and \(w_{1}\) for the velocity field, the magnetic field and the microrotational velocity, respectively. Also, the positive constants \(\mu\), \(\kappa\), \(\nu\) and \(\gamma\) denote the kinematic viscosity, the microrotation viscosity, the resistivity coefficient and the spin viscosity, respectively. Let \(\theta_{\alpha}=e^{\frac{\alpha z^{2}}{4}}\), \(\alpha\in\left[\frac{1}{4}, \frac{1}{2}\right]\) be a Gaussian weighted function, with \(z=\frac{y}{\sqrt{1+t}}\), and \(M_{m}=\frac{\sqrt{m+1}}{m!}\), as in [\textit{M. Ignatova} and \textit{V. Vicol}, Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 220, No. 2, 809--848 (2016; Zbl 1334.35238)] and [\textit{F. Xie} and \textit{T. Yang}, Acta Math. Appl. Sin. Engl. Ser. 35, No. 1, 209--229 (2019; Zbl 1414.76044)]. The author defines the Sobolev weighted seminorms \(X_{m}=X_{m}(f,\tau)=\left\|\theta_{\alpha}\partial_{x}^{m}f\right\|_{L^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{2}_{+})}\tau^{m}M_{m}\), \(D_{m}=D_{m}(f,\tau)=\left\|\theta_{\alpha}\partial_{y}\partial_{x}^{m}f\right\|_{L^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{2}_{+})}\tau^{m}M_{m}\) and \(Y_{m}=Y_{m}(f,\tau)=\left\|\theta_{\alpha}\partial_{x}^{m}f\right\|_{L^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{2}_{+})}\tau^{m-1}mM_{m}\). Then, for \(\tau>0\) the space \(X_{\tau,\alpha}:=\left\{f(t,x,y)\in L^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{2}_{+},\theta_{\alpha}dxdy): \left\|f\right\|_{X_{\tau,\alpha}}<\infty \right\}\) of analytic functions in the tangential variable \(x\) and weighted Sobolev in the normal variable \(y\) is defined, together with the norms \(\left\|f\right\|_{X_{\tau,\alpha}}=\sum_{m\geq0}X_{m}(f,\tau)\), \(\left\|f\right\|_{D_{\tau,\alpha}}=\sum_{m\geq0}D_{m}(f,\tau)\) and \(\left\|f\right\|_{Y_{\tau,\alpha}}=\sum_{m\geq1}Y_{m}(f,\tau)\). Then, the main result of the article is Theorem 2.1, according to which if the initial data \((u_{1}(0),b_{1}(0),w_{1}(0))\) satisfy \((u_{1}(0)-u^{s}(0), b_{1}(0)-1, w_{1}(0)-1)\in X_{\tau_{0},\alpha}\) with \(\alpha\in \left[\frac{1}{4}, \frac{1}{2}\right]\), and there exists an analyticity radius \(\tau_{0}\) such that \(\frac{8C_{2}}{7}\leq \tau_{0}^{\frac{3}{2}}\), then there exists a unique solution to the magnetomicropolar boundary layer problem such that \((u_{1}-u^{s}, b_{1}-1, w_{1}-1)\in X_{\tau,\alpha}\), with analyticity radius \(\tau>\frac{\tau_{0}}{4}\) in the time interval \([0, T]\), where \(T:=\mathrm{min}\left\{\left(\frac{7}{8C_{2}}\tau_{0}^{\frac{3}{2}}\right)^{\frac{3}{4}}-1, T_{1}\right\}\), with \(C_{2}=12C\left\|(u_{0},b_{0},w_{0})\right\|_{X_{\tau_{0},\alpha}}\left(\frac{1}{\alpha(1-3\beta)}+\frac{2}{3\alpha^{\frac{1}{2}}\beta}\right)\), \(\beta\in\left(0,\frac{1}{2}\right)\), and \(T_{1}=\frac{1}{4C}\leq T_{*}\). Here \(C\) is a positive constant such that the shear flow \(u^{s}(t,y)\) has the properties \(\left\|\partial^{i}_{y}u^{s}\right\|_{L^{\infty}_{y}}\leq \frac{C}{(1+t)^{\frac{i}{2}}}\), for \(i=1, 2\), \(\int_{0}^{\infty}\left|\partial_{y}u^{s}\right|dy<C\) and \(\left\|\theta_{\alpha}\partial^{2}_{y}u^{s}\right\|_{L^{2}_{y}}\leq \frac{C}{(1+t)^{\frac{3}{4}}}\) as in [Xie and T. Yang, loc. cit.].
