Cyclic semi-parallel real hypersurfaces in complex Grassmannians of rank two (Q6085355)

Real hypersurfaces satisfying various geometrical conditions in compact or hyperbolic complex two-plane Grassmannians were studied in various works. Concerning compact complex two-plane Grassmannians, it was proved that they do not admit neither parallel, nor semi-parallel real hypersurfaces. As a generalization, in the present paper, it is proved that none of the mentioned Grassmannians admit cyclic semi-parallel real hypersurfaces. The result also indicates the difference of these Grassmannians and complex space forms, which admit such hypersurfaces.
