Based on the authors' abstract: The symmetric functions \(\tilde s_\lambda\) were defined in [\textit{R. Orellana} and \textit{M. Zabrocki}, Adv. Math. 390, Article ID 107943, 34 p. (2021; Zbl 1473.05309)] as functions which evaluate to the irreducible characters of the symmetric group; they were also developed independently in [\textit{S. H. Assaf} and \textit{D. E. Speyer}, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 148, No. 3, 1015--1029 (2020; Zbl 1455.20007)]. These are known to encode stability properties in representation theory of the symmetric group; for example, the multiplicative structure constants of the \(\tilde s_\lambda\) are the stable Kronecker coefficients. This paper studies the behavior under the Kronecker comultiplication, in which \(\Delta^\ast {p_\mu}=p_\mu \otimes p_\mu\). The structure constants are the multiplicities of the restriction of representations from \(S_{mn}\) to \(S_m\times S_n\) provided that \(m\) and \(n\) are large enough. These structure constants, and thus the restriction multiplicities, also exhibit a two-row stability property.
